Computer generated imaging is so superb now that real events captured on cameras have become questionable if authentic or not.The big three camera mfgs as I call them, Canon, Nikon and Sony are developing technology that will embed digital signatures in original imaging that will verify authenticity of an image. The embedded tamper-proof signatures will embed location, photographer, date and time. Media outlets need updated resources to vet press images quickly to make sure printed articles are legit.
